Ristvue Studio was started in 2022. Anna, the Artist, has been creating jewelry since 1990. Graduating with a BFA in Metalsmithing and Ceramics in the Fall of 2025.

I’ve always been drawn to stones—their textures, colors, and the time and history they carry in their stories. That early fascination led me into jewelry making as a teenager, and later, while studying at Front Range Community College–Boulder Campus, a work‑study position in the pottery studio unexpectedly opened the door to metalsmithing. Encouraged by metalsmith and department head Camille Rendal, I shifted my focus and spent three semesters immersed in the craft.

After years away from making, fraught with perils, abuse, and sadness, I returned to metalsmithing, regaining my sense of self and purpose in my life journey. During the pandemic, life opened up a space for me to complete my Bachelor of Fine Arts. I enrolled in Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, and in December 2025 I was able to graduate with my BFA dual studying in Metalsmithing and Ceramics.

As I move into my own practice, my work now blends my lifelong love of rocks with a deep appreciation for material, process, and the narratives objects can hold.
